Background

A new generation of yogurt packaging boxes is made of PET plastic sheets to improve the market competitiveness and environmental image of the product. After market research and technical evaluation, the customer determined the following design requirements:

Transparent display effect:
The packaging box needs to have high transparency to show the color and texture of the yogurt.

Good barrier properties:

The packaging box must be able to withstand physical impact during transportation and storage and is not easy to break.

Design and production

Through the thermoforming process, the PET sheet is processed into a packaging box with multiple small cup-shaped containers, each of which can be opened separately for consumer use.

• Heating and forming:
  Using advanced thermoforming equipment, the PET sheet is heated to the appropriate temperature and pressed into a pre-designed mold through a vacuum forming process to form a multi-cup structure.
• Cooling and trimming:
  The formed packaging box is quickly cooled to ensure its shape stability. Then trim and remove the excess edges to get the final exquisite packaging box.
• Surface treatment:
  Print the brand logo, product information and nutritional information table on the surface of the packaging box to enhance the brand image and consumer trust.
